I'm running RH8.0 and have had a recurring problem with the keyboard. For some reason despite being able to login ok, when I log in as a certain user the keyboard bleeps whenever a key is pressed. I can type but I have no hold the key for almost a full two seconds for a letter to appear on the screen. I've had this problem before and it was solved somehow by logging out and then back in again.
