The only advantages of Netscape over Mozilla is probably an IM client,
besides that Mozilla is much more feature rich then Netscape.

Mozilla has a separate branch for every minor version (1.0.x, 1.2.x ...) and
each branch development concentrates on stability. So, while 1.0.2 is newer
(by release date) then 1.2.1, it has less features then 1.2.1. BTW, 1.3 beta
released today, I think worth to give it a try, too.
