I tried your instructions for using mailertable, but I have the following problems: 1. All mail sent externally to cantara.com ends up being delivered locally at the firewall. Note that on the firewall, I do have a user account "raul" also, I have vague memories of this being an issue why sendmail wasn't sending mail from the firewall to the main Linux box. I have this firewall account simply so I can ssh to the firewall, and from there to my main Linux box, without using root. 2. All mail sent from within the firewall box goes nowhere. /var/log/maillog shows something like this: Jan 27 16:02:17 cantara sm-msp-queue[13169]: h0RNnaUY012452: to=raul@cantara.com, ctladdr=root (0/0), delay=00:12:41, xdelay=00:03:09, mailer=relay, pri=300022, relay=localhost.com. [10.20.40.80], dsn=4.0.0, \ stat=Deferred: Connection timed out with localhost.com. Is this because of the port being blocked off? Thanks for your help!
