I have several database products in mind that I would like to build. I have seen that MySQL and PostGRESQL are included with Red Hat 8. From what I am reading, neither has a user-friendly interface and therefore someone needs to program an interface for them. I have been looking for information about how to build interfaces for them, but I am not sure I have learned much. Some recommendations are for Java, others for C. In Windows, I used either Access and a little Visual Foxpro or Visual Basic. What recommendations do you have? At the bookstore this evening I ran across a book on Kylix. I just looked it up on the internet and discovered it is a RAD tool for Linux by Boreland. The book came with a copy of Open Kylix. I looked on the Boreland website and it is a version for open source. It has an Evaluation version, but they don't seem to sell it. Can someone tell me if that is a free version by chance, or is it a timeware product that dies if you don't pay for it after a few days? I will probably download it when I get Linux up again and look it over, but in the meantime, I think I got lost somewhere and went around in circles on Boreland's website. What can you folk tell me about it? Thank you Buck -- Psyche-list mailing list Psyche-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/psyche-list
