I tried putting it on the desktop like you mentioned and had the same results - I couldn't resize it. I also noticed it looked 'blurry' so I thought I'd give it some further investigation (why not!) I noticed it was a bitmap (in /usr/share/pixmaps) so I thought maybe nautilus had trouble resizing bitmaps. I converted it to a png using the Gimp, and then pointed the mozilla mail launcher to the new png. Still couldn't resize it. I then resized the png x3 (agin using the gimp) and voila, the new size was automatically detected, it wasn't blurry, and it can be resized on the desktop as well. If you want some help with these steps let me know. -- Iain Buchanan <iain@nospam.pcorp.com.au> Many a family tree needs trimming.
