I recently downloaded the Xft enabled version of Mozilla, and wow! does
that ever look nice. I dare say Mozilla looked better than IE does on mac
os x. Super nice font rendering. It appears to be a little bit slower
response time than normal, but it sure does look nice.
I shan't cover fontconfig again, but ... has anyone figured out how to change the [size of the] /base/ font (i.e., menus etc.) in XFt moz? I have my 'serif' font set to Times (IIRC) which seems to affect it, but it's a bit flippin' small! [MS] 'Arial' seems to come out at a decent size, but this 'serif' font setting has no associated size.
