Randy; This is an old issue from what I've been able to gather. It exists in other distributions and other versions of Evolution, including the latest, 1.2. Look here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=76366 You can fix the problem (sort of, it will continue to happen even after you do this, but you'll be able to use Evolution for the current session) by going into the /tmp/orbit-[insert your login name here] directory and delete the files "reg.IDL:OAF_ActivationContext:1.0" and "reg.IDL:OAF_ActivationContext:1.0-local". Then run Evolution. It should work. Another solution is to put "killall oafd 2>/dev/null" in ~/.bash_profile. I haven't tried this one, but I think I will now.
