There was a second part of the message, also in plain text, which contains a digital signature, authenticating the author. This is one of two ways messages can be signed with PGP. It is the newer of the two, and widely regarded as the "right" way to sign mail. Your mailer (Microsoft OE 6) is unable to recognize this, because it sucks. You're going to see lots of these messages on mailing lists, and I suggest you get over it, or get a real e-mail client. - -- Derek D.
