Getting Personal Security Manager installed

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I apologize ahead of time for am RPM newbie question. I recently
completed my install of RH 8.0 having moved from Mandrake 8.1 (hard
drive crash forced the issue). When I try to get to the RedHat
network, my Galeon browser tells me I need Personal Security Manager
(PSM). I opened up the "Packaging" from the Gnome start menu and
checked the mozilla-psm package to add. It tells me that it needs the
dependencies mozilla-1.0.24 and mozilla-1.0.24-nss and that it cannot
locate them.

As I try to search various sites to hunt down what to do, I keep
hitting sites that want PSM installed - kind of a catch-22.

I have all five Psyche CDs. The RPMS I need have to be here but I
have not had any luck getting them installed. One of the problems (I
think) is that I ran up2date and now have newer versions of some of
the mozilla packages.

Bottom line question: How can I get *any* version of mozilla-psm
installed?

Thanks for you time,
Dave
