than RH. They use the same hardware for 3 years (or more), and RH is the
only one that hangs !    Strange because it suppose be Win98...   :-)))

Like other posters have said, Win98 has the ability to run on semi-broken hardware while crashing only sometimes. The first thing you should check is your memory.

Download memtest86 and make a boot floppy. Run it for several hours. If it doesn't display any errors after a few hours you probably don't have memory problems.
