do you *need* to install the src.rpm? if so, do you have a
/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES directory? if so, do you have permission to
install in that directory? are you installing as root?

it is sometimes easier when installing multiple rpms with dependencies
on each other to install them all at once, then rpm figures it out:

rpm -ivh xmms-*
