Yes! Looks like snmpd is getting hung on probing for character type devices
during the MIB walk. Very irritating I might add. But you should NOT see
this problem when using snmpget on a specific MIB/OID.

The only work around I found was to increase the timeout paramater during
snmpwalk. i.e.

$ snmpwalk -t 20 -c Community voyager .1 >snmpwalk.out
