It requires me to move my hand from the keyboard slowing me down. It is much easier to slide my fingers over to hit the <ctrl Fx> key stroke than it is to go find the @#$%^%^&& mouse and do it. Especially when I change desktops very frequently. Except for cut and paste operations I think a mouse is STUPID but I am sure a LOT of people will disagree.
