They have the largest install base in the world. There are regions where RH isn't #1 but they still have enough installs to make their total worldwide market share larger than anyone else. Again, though, you aren't talking about a majority here either. > Not everyone is a GUI fanatic, but the Unix/Linux community still > overwhelmingly uses KDE according to published reports I've seen. If you did a search you would find as many "published reports" that declare GNOME as the majority. There is no desktop that is "overwhelmingly" used in the Linux community. And if you take the other UNIX flavors into account you'd probably find CDE as the "overwhelming favorite" used. - -- "Khaaaaamaaayyyy, Haaaaamaaaayyyy, HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" -- Goku, Dragon Ball -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE953tMHeWRPx8OIHARAo95AJ4v6YyqvsO098+CjBTqAX4xEt1TLgCdG17L cj2JdB6AErP9v0+a0zcD0Lw= =hXgJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Psyche-list mailing list Psyche-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/psyche-list
