Certainly sounds like a corrupt... ahem... copy-protected CD, if it plays OK in a "normal" CD player and you can play other audio CDs in your CD-ROM drive. (BTW, you who had problems with audio CDs and a Plextor drive, I know you mentioned problems with CD-R/RWs as well, but are you sure you tested with *Proper* audio CDs?) There are some lists of corrupt CDs out there. I couldn't find that specific CD, but there were some from the same artist and record label. Google is your friend.
