IIRC, you saw the same message my brother saw when trying to install the kernel-doc rpm. We checked the md5sum of the rpm he downloaded, and it was not correct.

Do a md5sum kernel-source-2.4.18-18.8.0.i386.rpm

It should be:

b99ffefa103eeb4d12ad6efae9cf4ef1
