After switching the cables, I attempted to boot up and got nowhere. So I booted in rescue mode and attempted to run the grub-install. After a couple of failed attempts, I have switched the drives back to the original configuration. I can boot into Psyche, but M$ is not booting. Which gives me a reason to trash that hard drive and start over on it. :) Thanx for the advice... James -----Original Message----- From: Rinaldi J. Probably yes. Did you run grub-install /dev/hda after switching the drives? Rinaldi -- By all means marry.
