I bought a Logitech optical mouse and I couldn't be happier. I oculd connect with either ps/2 or usb, I chose ps/2 so I would\ not have to alter /etc/x11configs. I just plugged it in and went to the races. Didn;t even have to reboot. It's quick and accurate. I'm happy. Thanks for input.
