I tried following the instructions from Jesse Keating and Roger for the installation of the NVIDIA drivers for my Dell station (Intel processor) which is now running at 2.4.18-17.8.0 Both the rebuild and the make failed. I have attached text files containing the problems with both attempts to install the drivers. I have a "production" computer without graphics. The make ended in /usr/include/linux/highmem.h: At top level: nv.c:155: storage size of `nv_fops' isn't known nv.c:1037: storage size of `nv_vm_ops' isn't known make: *** [nv.o] Error 1 [root@samuel NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-3123]# exit The rebuild ended in nv.c:2929: parse error before ')' token^M /usr/include/linux/highmem.h: At top level:^M nv.c:155: storage size of `nv_fops' isn't known^M nv.c:1037: storage size of `nv_vm_ops' isn't known^M make: *** [nv.o] Error 1^M
