I'm experiencing the same problems. I've looked at Bugzilla #76057 which supposedly addresses this issue, but haven't tried any of them as of yet. My main gripe is that TTF's in StarOffice 6 look awful and get even worse if I turn AA off...still trying to figure this one out myself. Please keep me posted on any progress you make. Under 8.0, however, antialiasing extends to vertical font elements, which makes everything look quite terrible. The characters seem to acquire dropshadows. At first I thought it was my graphics card producing poor output, but then reinstalled an older release and found that the problem went away. I built freetype with the bytecode hinter turned on and found no change. Has anyone else experienced this problem? - J< -- Psyche-list mailing list Psyche-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/psyche-list -- Psyche-list mailing list Psyche-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/psyche-list
