Hans.  I've jumped in here because it struck me that you may be asking
the wrong question.
You might try asking the group how to accomplish something with you lan
by posting a small diagram (text only please) with the result you want
from the traffic.
I guess what I am getting at why do you need DNS?
Are you sure this is what will get you where you want to go?

You should probably turn this off until you have at least the correct
answers for configuration.
Log in as root, type "service named stop".
You can start it again after you find out the rest.

The document says that because it requires serious study to do this and
is not for the light hearted.
I again question your need for DNS.
