I don't know about gnome-terminal, but evolution uses the gnome 1.4 configs. Edit your ~/.gnome/Gnome file so that it has these lines: http-show=galeon "%s" https-show=galeon "%s" I don't like new windows, I prefer tabs, so mine looks like this: http-show=galeon -n "%s" https-show=galeon -n "%s" Hope this helps.
