From: "Stephen Liu" <satimis@writeme.com> > On KDE Konqueror if I accidental delete a file or directory how can I > recover it (undelete) Stephen, for some one at your level of expertise the answer is basically, "There is no way." With any OS of the level of complexity of Windows NT, Linux, BSD, or any other serious OS this is basically true. Sometimes you can get lucky and use the various disk editing tools and maybe find your lost data. But this can take a LOT of time, time that is downtime for the computer. Now if you deleted it to a trashcan then you need to dig around for the trashcan and pull the file out of it. But that's "trash" instead of "delete"; and, you did say delete. Delete is pretty much a permanent "bye bye" to your files without special intervention and 100 gigabytes worth of patience with today's disk sizes. {^_^} -- Psyche-list mailing list Psyche-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/psyche-list
