Hi, I've got a copy of Xine from: http://xine.sourceforge.net/index.php?resource=4&action=default Tried to install it, but as someone not too familiar with Linux things yet, have not done so successfully. As when I try to install the gnome bit it complains that some libraries are not available. I'm sure if I spent the time reading all the help files it could be done. Is there another player that will play Windows Media files? There are a couple of web sites that only have Windows Media files for things I'd like to be able to view and hear on my Redhat 8.0 laptop. If I'm not mistaken xine was included with redhat 7.3, but is not included in 8.0. Anyone know the reason for this? Thanks for any help. Neil.
