I don't know how to remain in a thread in the list, so I guess I'm going to start a new one. I believe I am using a prism card as well (that's cisco right?) So you had to recompile ethereal? You can't use the one already installed? Well I guess I'll try it. Couldn't hurt at this point. If there is any other things I should know about, please let me know. I am using a prism based card. I had to compile the linux-wlan drivers. I also had to compile a custom libpcap with the wireless patch as per the ethereal FAQ and compile a new Ethereal using the new libpcap. Once I did that, I could analyze my wireless network. Marc.
