Hi, To expunge only selected messages, it must be done from the folder they were in when they were deleted. Go to that folder and choose Actions->Expunge (or CTRL-E). Expunging the trash folder permanently expunges all deleted messages from all folders. You can choose to hide deleted messages, instead of seeing them with a line through them, from the View->Hide Deleted Messages menu option.
