The computer grinds down so slow top wasn't even updating its info
hardly but it finally said cdrecord was at about 70% cpu usage. "X" was
at 20%+ cpu when at idle it isn't even on the list. Cpu state was 2%
user 98% system.
I am using the burnproof option and I found it interesting that in
burning the redhat iso (over nfs) it reported:
Track 01: 648 of 648 MB written (fifo 100%).
Track 01: Total bytes read/written: 679542784/679542784 (331808
sectors).
Writing time: 565.927s
Fixating...
Fixating time: 19.872s
cdrecord: fifo had 10704 puts and 10704 gets.
cdrecord: fifo was 665 times empty and 12 times full, min fill was 0%.
with the audio it said:
Writing time: 314.206s
Fixating...
Fixating time: 8.501s
cdrecord: fifo had 11323 puts and 11323 gets.
cdrecord: fifo was 0 times empty and 1312 times full, min fill was 1%.

very confused here
