Pierre, I have a similar A22p. Check /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 for Section "Monitor". Did you select an LCD display? I have trouble whenever I do that. For my 1600x1200 UXGA display I'm using "Generic Monitor, 1600x1200 @ 76 Hz". If the A22M display has a lower resolution, select the corresponding "Generic Monitor". If this doesn't work, we'll try something else. It shouldn't take long before you're up and running as before. --Doc Savage Fairview Heights, IL On Mon, 2002-10-14 at 17:25, Pierre Lamb wrote: > > 8.0 broke X on my laptop worked gret on 7.1 I have a thinkpad A22M with an ATI rage128 mobile. > > > > --------------------------------- > Do you Yahoo!? > Faith Hill - Exclusive Performances, Videos, & more > faith.yahoo.com -- Psyche-list mailing list Psyche-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/psyche-list
