Hi, yeah, watching DVD with olge seems to be without any problems, here my configuration for the other users with DVD probs: [root@devil dev]# ls -la dvd lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 Okt 5 15:14 dvd -> /dev/hdc fstab: /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0 /dev/dvd /dev/hdc iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0 Works fine with ogle ... (Without hdX=ide-scsi parameter) But now I would like to watch DVD with Xine as well, but there is a little problem called DCSS. I downloaded the Xine rpm's from freshrpms.net and I downloaded and installed the libs: [root@devil dev]# rpm -qa|grep dvd libdvdcss2-1.2.2-1 libdvdread-0.9.3-ogle1 libdvdnav-0.1.3-1 But how can I motivate Xine to play a DVD with CSS ? With ogle everything works fine ... Are there some hidden parameters or something else what I forgot to do .... Cheers, Duncan
