If your S3 card worked in RHL 6.x, then it works in all versions of RHL 7.x also, since the XFree86 3.3.6 servers included in RHL 6.2 are also included in Red Hat Linux 7.x - all releases. In 7.3 there are some issues with 3.3.6 servers, and using the 4.x server with the "vesa" driver is very highly recommended. -- Mike A.
