Does anyone know if there is some documentation somewhere that explains the font system (i.e. xfs, Xft, fontconfig, etc) in 8.0? I looked on the documentation CD and did not find anything interesting. Specifically I am trying to find out why the fonts appear so radically different in Gnome (horrible) and KDE (beautiful) for all combinations of anti-aliasing. Jacò
