I've just made a clean install of redhat 8.0 from a previous 7.3 install. I had a working Wacom intous2 tablet before and now I cannot get any response from it. cat /dev/ttyS0 usually gives me an indication that its there and working. Drivers are usually a pain to make. I've recompiled XFree86 with all the variants of the wacom driver I could find which could possibly be usefull. Including the one that worked on redhat 7.3. The only indication I have that the wacom tablet is actually connected is in /proc/tty/driver/serial which gives me this: serinfo:1.0 driver:5.05c revision:2001-07-08 0: uart:16550A port:3F8 irq:4 baud:9600 tx:1904 rx:0 CTS|DSR 1: uart:16550A port:2F8 irq:3 baud:9600 tx:0 rx:0 If I use ttyS1 instead of ttyS0 the "CTS|DSR" part moves to port 1. /etc/sysconfig/hwconf has a correct entry for my tablet (the exact same entry as on rh73) which must have been autodetected at some point. This is not data I put in there. Any clues as to why this is suddenly a problem? Best regards -Rene
