Yesterday I did a clean install (not upgrade) of 8.0 over my previous 7.3. Now I can't display X-Windows apps running on a remote machine, even after using "xhost +remotemachine" locally and "export DISPLAY=localmachine:0" on the remote machine. I'm guessing it has something to do with iptables, but I haven't had time to learn iptables yet. 8.0 default behavior seems different from 7.3 . Pointers greatly appreciated. Allan
