Administrivia

This is a brief reminder to everyone that postings sent to the
mailing list by unsubscribed posters, will never be read by a
human being. The administrative queue for this mailing list
receives an incredibly large amount of spam and other off topic
junkmail postings, which makes it impossible to human read each
posting held for approval to determine which ones should be
discarded and which ones should be responded to.

As such, *ALL* messages that get caught in the administrative
queue, get purged once every week or two unread. This is an
intentional administrative decision which is absolutely required
due to the volume of mail received, and the fact that there are
only so many volunteer hours to go around.

Anyone who posts to the list and their message does not make it
through to the list, should triple-check that they are subscribed
to the mailing list and receiving mail before posting.

I have posted this message because once in a while I get a few
angry emails from people who posted several times to the list and
never got a response, then discovered their mails never went to
the list, and were upset that the "moderator" did not approve
their emails.

The intent of this message is to state clearly, that this list is
*not* moderated at all. All people wishing to post to the list,
absolutely must subscribe to the list first and confirm their
subscription. Any emails trapped by GNU mailman that were
intended for this list, will be automatically deleted as stated
above.

And finally, please, no angry emails to your list admin. His DEL
button reaches far and wide. ;o)

Happy New Year everyone,
TTYL
