I have the errata glibc applied. 

$ rpm -q glibc
glibc-2.3.2-27.9

$ rpm -q --qf '%{ARCH}\n' glibc
i686

I will see if I can reinstall the RPMS with the libGL patch enabled
today sometime and try this. See if it produces anything that might be
helpful.
