Hi, I cannot get my X to work with my Radeon AIW 7500 and a CRT since I installed RedHat 9. I get the error "no screens found" when starting X. I looked through the messages on this list and tried everything (including redhat-config-xfree86 --reconfig). In the past (with RH8 and prior) I simply added "Option" "crt_screen" to my XF86Config to get it to work - I got the same error before and fixed it with this option. Now, with RH9, this option has no effect. The AIW 7500 is the only video in the computer. It is a single head card with a 'digital' out - it came with an adapter to use for a CRT. This combo worked before with RH8 and it works now with Windows. Below is my XF86Config. Thank you for your help. # XFree86 4 configuration created by pyxf86config Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "Default Layout" Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0 InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer" InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard" InputDevice "DevInputMice" "AlwaysCore" EndSection Section "Files" # RgbPath is the location of the RGB database.
