The "nv" driver is 2D acceleration only.  It does not support 3D
acceleration on Nvidia video hardware, and will never do so.  
Nvidia does not provide open source 3D acceleration support in
XFree86, and as such the only way of obtaining 3D acceleration
support for Nvidia hardware is to use Nvidia's proprietary
drivers.

The "accel" and "noaccel" options are 2D acceleration options and 
do not have any effect on 3D.
