Xv and radeon mobility problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 (1600x1200) with the Radeon Mobility 9000,
and have just upgraded to 4.3.0. For some reason, I only get a blank
window (black) in xine when configured to use Xv. I had the same problem
in 4.2.0, unless I used the proprietary ati driver which didn't suspend,
so I gave up on watching movies on my laptop until 4.3.0. Unfortunately,
it still doesn't work, so I'm wondering if I've got something buggered
up. I'm running RH 8.0, and installed 4.3.0 from compiling Mike Harris'
srpm (4.3.0-2.1).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Some configs (xvinfo, xpyinfo,
XF86Config) are included below.

Cheers,

Eric
