Thanks, but I've read logs, and I don't understand it.When I press Ctrl + Alt + Backspace I can get into text mode, and it works OK, but when I type 'startx' I can see black screen and nothing more, and (after pressing Ctrl + Alt + Backspace) there is an output: "Connection to X server lost". I've got Intel I810 graphic card (16MB), and standard instalation of RH 8.0 with Xfree and Gnome.Your X server log should have details of what is happening wrong in it. Have a look and see if there is anything in there that might provide clues. Hope this helps. TTYL
This is what I saw after "more Xfree86.9.log | grep EE"

"/dev/null" is empty... I don't know what to do next, I tried to run "up2date" and check for some updates but I got
"There was an SSL error: (104, connection reset by peer)", but thats different issue...
What do You think about that?
Thanks for helping me!
