Hi everybody, I installed RH7.2 on Alpha 1000a 4/266 but, for the moment, I only have access to text mode. I have and old Video Card Cirrus Logic CL-GD5428 512Kb which seems not to be supported by XFree86.4.1.0-29. I tried to configure this card as a generic VGA card (with Xconfigurator) but I have the same result. Running the #startx command, I have the following message: waiting for X server to begin accepting connections .. .. I read that I should install XFree86 3.3.6 which supports my Cirrus Logic card.
