Just drop your truetype fonts into the TTF directory

The implication of that statement is that dropping truetype fonts into
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF (where XFree86-truetype-fonts put its fonts) is
flat wrong (at least as far as Xft/fontconfig are concerned). They will work
for legacy stuff once xfs is restarted and/or the system is rebooted.

The problem is the fontconfig-0.0.1.020626-fontdir.patch which changes the top
font directory to be handled by Xft/fontconfig to be
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/ instead of /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/ (this is
in the fontconfig package).

The XFree86-truetype-fonts package does nothing to correct this situation --
it neither fixes /etc/fonts/fonts.conf nor does it run fc-cache.
