[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello xfree86-list,

I have a laptop Compaq Evo N150 and I am trying to install RH 7.3 on
it, but I am having a serious problem with the graphical enivroment.

I use KDE3.0 and XFree86 4.2.0.

For the Xconfigurator I choose as
Video card: Trident Cyberblade,
Monitor: Generic Laptop 1024x648.

When i start the kde it happens the following strange thing: with the
movement of a window the screen is flickering!!!

The output of scanpci is:
pci bus 0x0001 cardnum 0x00 function 0x00: vendor 0x1023 device 0x8520
 Trident CyberBlade/DSTN/i1
 with 8MB of RAM.

I attatch the XFree86.0.log.
XF86Config-4
and the output of the stderr.

Please if you have any suggestions send them to me because I need
despertly linux on this laptop.
