Doc, your Logitech PS/2 wheel mouse should work fine. Below is the relevent snippet of my "/etc/X11/XF86Config-4" file. Notice the... "Protocol" "imps/2" line specifically. Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse0" Driver "mouse" Option "Device" "/dev/mouse" Option "Protocol" "imps/2" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "off" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection After adding that, restart X and you should be scrolling with no trouble. This works with the Logitech optical mice as well, but I can't vouch for the wireless breed. ;) Cheers, William -- William Lanning ** Senior System Administrator Dialtone Europe Managed Hosting ** http://uk.dialtone.com Telephone: +44 (0)800 018 8656 ** Fax: +44 (0)207 681 1424 *** A flute without holes is no flute -- A doughnut with no hole is a danish. *** >>> On Mon, 15 Apr 2002, dsavage@peaknet.net spoke: > I'm running XFree86-4.1.0-15 under Enigma, and I can't figure out how to get the > wheel on my Logitech PS/2 wheel mouse working.
