When is XFree86 v4.2 going to be available as a stabll package?

I see XFree86-4.2.0-6.41 there.  Is that the one, and is this supposed to
work with RH 7.2?  I assume that one also needs the Rawhide kernel and
some dependencies from there, correct?

I'm running XFree86-4.2.0-6.1 and kernel-2.4.17-0.18 and it seems pretty
stable (Radeon Mobility M6).  Should I stick there, or are there relevant
patches in the later ones?
