Hi Guys, I just had a query on /usr/lib/gcc-lib/ directory. This directory seems to contain the redhat-version subdirectory and then all the subdirectories for each compiler installed. What is the significance of this directory ? Is this directory automatically created at the time of installation or has to be manually created ? I have an issue with 2 of my machines : 1] M/C 1 has Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS release 3 (Taroon Update 4) ) and gcc 3.2.2 . This machine has got a proper directory and include files for the compiler 3.2.3 under the directory : /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux 2] M/C 2 has ( Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant) ) and gcc 3.4.3. *This machine however does not have such directory and the respective include files under the directory */usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/ I had expected a 3.4.3/include directory under the /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/ directory . Do you think that there is some problem with the installation regrding this ? I am facing some undefined macro error and was thinking if that error could be related to the missing directory and its include files on M/C 2.
