Hi, Thanks for your info. I already tested on Fedora8, it is working fine. Before loading Fedora 8 i tried loading kernel modules of lated kernel 2.6.25 on fedora core 5. but it didn't work for me. Is there any chance to get drivers for fedora core5. But you should also learn a little about the kernel and how it works. You should be able to get the driver for that card at the OEM of the motherboard and load it into the kernel as a module. Here's a good howto: http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Module-HOWTO/ Barry Brimer wrote: > > > On Thu, 1 May 2008, vishnu vardhan reddy wrote: > >> Hi All, >> I'm out of ideas on getting networking working on my new computer. >> I bought an Intel DG33 Moptherboard , which has Intel 82566dc Gigabit >> onboard NIC Card. >> I loaded Fedora core 5 and compiled the source on it. >> Now i was unable to get drivers for onboard Gigabit LAN card. >> So can any one tell me wether this kernel(2.6.15) will support >> Gigabit lan cards, and how can i load drivers for it. >> Thanks & Best Regards >> Vishnu Vardhan > > What is the output of 'lspci -v'?
