RHEL 4.4 and SATA drives

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I tried to load RHEL 4.4 on a Dell Optiplex 745 and, for some reason, it cannot recognize the SATA drives. Fedora Core 6 installs fine and tells me the drives are using the ata_piix module just like a half dozen other machines with SATA or SAS drives that are running RHEL 3 or 4.

I know that the above is not much to go on but it really has me stumped. I cannot figure why this machine should be an exception.
