Thank you Imed, that was the correct fix.  I'll remember compat from now on.

not the rpm, but the tar.gz from Mozilla.  It complained about not
finding libstdc++.so.5.

Compatibility libraries are in compat-*. Try installing compat-libstdc++*, Anaconda does prompt for this in the package selection phase.
