I cant help you with sendmail im afraid. However, if you remove sendmail and install postfix here's what you would do. -- assume postfix is running -- Find the following line in /etc/postfix/main.cf relayhost = change this to relayhost = [ip.of.your.mailserver] including the square brackets. service postfix reload Now as long as your mailserver is configured to allow mail to the address your trying to send to it should work.
