Install packages/patches

Thanks. They are in Redhat7.1 so they should work. However, the commands are not found in Redhat9 which I am using currently in another computer.

What if I want to install those commands in Redhat9? Where can I get them for Redhat9 Linux 2.4.20? How do I know what version to use? Is the subversion important when talking about version? I am afraid they have dependencies modules.

Do the dependent modules and the commands need to be compiled in certain order? Is there a general order to compile programs/packages with dependent modules? Maybe like library, then conf file or something like that.

Thanks in advance.
